Stacia L. Palser and Cooper W. Johnson Named Partners at Dvorak Law Group

Stacia L. Palser brings more than 20 years of diverse legal experience to Dvorak Law Group, advising clients across a broad range of complex business and regulatory matters. Her practice at the Firm includes Business & Corporate, Environmental, Labor & Employment, Real Estate, and Sports Law, where she is known for delivering practical, forward-thinking counsel and creative legal solutions. Prior to joining the Firm, Stacia had a distinguished 13-year tenure with the University of Nebraska System, most recently serving as Vice President and General Counsel. In that role, she acted as chief legal advisor to the University’s four campuses—UNL, UNK, UNO, and UNMC—providing strategic guidance on corporate governance, employment, compliance, litigation, contracts, and large-scale public-private partnerships supporting major institutional initiatives. Stacia earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law and holds a B.S. in Biological Systems Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

Cooper W. Johnson is a member of the Firm’s Business and Corporate practice group, with a practice focused on a broad range of general corporate and business matters, including entity formation and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, and the drafting and negotiation of business contracts. Prior to joining the Firm, Cooper developed a broad foundation in transactional and advisory work through experience at a boutique sell-side investment banking firm, a corporate and business law firm, and a large accounting firm, where his work centered on tax matters. He is admitted to practice in Nebraska and is affiliated with the Nebraska Bar Association. Cooper received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota School of Law and earned his B.S. in Finance and Economics from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
