TOYO honors individuals between the ages of 21 and 40 who show exemplary commitment to improving the community through selfless acts of kindness while excelling in their professional careers. For 88 years, the Omaha Jaycees have highlighted incredible individuals in Greater Omaha.

Ryan M. Kunhart is a Partner at Dvorak Law Group, LLC. Ryan represents businesses, governmental entities and individuals on a variety of litigation matters including breaches of contract, business tort, trade secret and fiduciary duty matters, negligence, insurance disputes, and construction defects. Ryan is also a senior member of the Labor and Employment Practice Group, where he defends corporate clients against employment claims, defends governmental entities and elected officials on claims involving employment matters, and advises clients in connection with the development, implementation, and monitoring of employment policies and procedures.

Ryan holds Bar Admission in Nebraska and Texas, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit, and four U.S. District Courts. He received his Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude from the Creighton University School of Law with a Certificate in Litigation, and also earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University, graduating magna cum laude with co-majors in Journalism and History. In 2019, Ryan joined an elite 10% of attorneys to earn the Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Rating, a designation denoting the highest combination of legal ability and ethical standards.

As an advocate for giving individuals opportunities, Ryan serves as founding board member and President of the Gift of Adoption Fund of Nebraska and Iowa, and was previously active in Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands. He is also an active mentor within the firm, and serves nationally as Committee Chair of the Defense Research Institute’s Civil Rights and Governmental Liability Committee, leading more than 500 attorneys nationwide.

A Columbus, NE native, Ryan and his wife Laura reside in Omaha with their two children.
