Leadership Omaha held an orientation on August 16 for Class 41. Selected as one of the 49 participants was Laura Essay, partner of Dvorak Law Group, LLC.

Leadership Omaha began in 1978 and it is a part of the Greater Omaha Chamber. The Chamber says, “Class members are chosen based on their demonstrated community involvement and vision for the future of Omaha.”

Members of Class 41 will spend the next 10 months focusing on community issues such as education, inclusivity and justice. The program will conclude in June 2019 with a graduation.

Essay is a member of Dvorak Law Group’s estate and business succession planning Practice Areas. She assists clients with estate and trust administration matters and sophisticated tax planning involving family business entities, sale and loan techniques, insurance planning and charitable giving.

Laura Essay is involved with the Nebraska State and American Bar Association. In 2017, she was awarded as the Outstanding Young Lawyer from the Nebraska State Bar Association. She is also active in Junior League of Omaha and the Omaha Rose Theater Guild.
