Michael J. Weaver
Dvorak Law Group, LLC is pleased to welcome Michael J. Weaver to the firm’s Business and Corporate and Estate and Wealth Planning practice groups. Weaver brings decades of experienced counsel to businesses and individuals, focusing his practice on a myriad of legal areas including corporate and business law, real estate transactions, federal and state taxation and tax planning, estate, retirement and financial planning, and trust administration and probate. He especially enjoys working with closely held businesses, providing practical advice that minimizes risk while navigating complex legal issues throughout the life-cycles of their business in order to reach their goals.

Mike is an AV rated attorney with Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer rating earned by attorneys at the highest level of professional excellence for legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards. He also earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® professional designation, and passed the Series 7 General Securities Exam, the Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law Exam, and the Nebraska Life and Health Exam. He has also earned a Certified Public Accountant Certificate. He is a member of the Omaha Bar, Nebraska Bar, and American Bar Associations. Mike is a 1987 graduate of Creighton University, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with majors in accounting and finance. He is a 1990 summa cum laude graduate of the Creighton University School of Law.
Cooper W. Johnson
Cooper W. Johnson has also joined the firm as a member of the firm’s Business and Corporate practice group. His practice is concentrated on a broad range of general corporate and business matters, including entity formation and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, and the drafting and review of all types of business contracts. Prior to joining the firm, Cooper worked at a boutique sell-side investment banking firm in Minnesota.
Cooper is a Minnesota State University, Mankato graduate, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics in 2012. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School, graduating cum laude in 2017.
