Dvorak Law Group is pleased to welcome Daniel Florence, Katelin O’Connor, Christian Rush, and Lindsay Velez to the firm.
Daniel Florance, from Papillion, NE, joins the firm’s business and corporate practice group. He will assist clients with a broad range of general corporate and business matters, including entity formation and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, and the review and drafting of all types of business contracts. Daniel received his Juris Doctor from the Creighton University School of Law in 2023, graduating Magna Cum Laude and with a Concentration in Litigation. In law school, Daniel was nominated to The Order of Barristers and Alpha Sigma Nu, and was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Negotiation. Prior to law school, Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Aviation from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Katelin O’Connor, from Grand Island, NE, joins the firm’s estate and business succession planning practice group. She will assist clients with the preparation of their estate plans, including preparation of wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, advance directives, and related estate planning documents. Katelin received her Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2023, with high distinction. She completed both an individualized program of concentrated study in Business and Tax Planning, as well as the Wealth Management Law Program concentrated study. In law school, Katelin was the recipient of two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards and was a published author in the Nebraska Law Review. Prior to law school, Katelin earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Nebraska Wesleyan University, graduating with highest distinction.
Christian Rush, from Bellevue, NE, joins the firm’s litigation and trial practice group. He will represent clients across a broad spectrum of complex business and commercial litigation issues, including construction, insurance, property, and real estate litigation. Christian received his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2023, with distinction. In law school, he was the recipient of two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards and served as Managing Editor of the Nebraska Law Review. Prior to law school, Christian graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in English.
Lindsay Velez, from Fremont, NE, joins the firm’s litigation and trial practice group. She will represent businesses, governmental entities, and individuals on a variety of litigation matters including contract disputes, discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, civil rights claims, negligence, fraud, and insurance disputes. Lindsay received her Juris Doctor from the Creighton University School of Law in 2023, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Certificate in Litigation. Prior to law school, Lindsay earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Creighton University with a minor in legal studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
