The Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska is a two-day event hosted to raise money for cancer research. Held annually, the Ball’s location is always at a different ranch. The proceeds of the donations go towards the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, in Omaha, and the local community of the Ball’s location. In total, over $13 million has been raised since the Ball’s 21 years ago. The hosts of the 2018 Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska was the Hergott Farm in Hebron, Nebraska. They had a record attendance of 4,500 people to ‘whip cancer’ – this year’s theme. Among those who attended were Dvorak Law Group’s, David Mayer. “We all know someone who has unfairly been affected by this disease (cancer). That’s why it was an honor to be surrounded by thousands of Nebraskans, all coming together for a single cause – raising money for cancer research. The Cattlemen’s Ball was a remarkable event,” said David Mayer, partner with Dvorak Law Group. The total amount raised at the 2018 Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska will be announced in September.
