On December 11, Dvorak Law Group, Central Community College, and Heartland Bank held a farm succession seminar. The goal was to provide producers with information needed to make decisions regarding the succession of family operations.

Presenters included David M. Dvorak, partner with Dvorak Law Group, and Doris Lux, with Central Community College. Lucas Swartzendruber, with Heartland Bank, served as Master of Ceremonies.

Topics included, but not limited to, communication with the family, taxes, and examples of different situations.

This seminar was impart paid for by a grant from Nebraska Precision Ag Center For Excellence (N-PACE).  In September 2014, Central Community College (CCC) was awarded a Round 4 Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College Career Training (TAACCCT) grant through the Department of Labor to enhance the existing agricultural business degree by adding a precision agriculture specialization. Today, a student can enroll at CCC to earn Agricultural Science degree with a Precision Agriculture specialization.

N-PACE also offers industry-wide training for non-traditional students.
