On January 11, Dvorak Law Group and Ellerbrock-Norris Insurance held an Employment Law Seminar in Hastings. The goal was to provide area business owners information to assist their companies.
Presenters included Julie Schultz Self and Ryan Kunhart, with Dvorak Law Group, and Brian Bassett, president of Ellerbrock-Norris Insurance.
Dvorak Law Group discussed the “top employment law mistakes and how to avoid them”. Topics included, but were not limited to, employee handbooks, harassment in the workplace, hiring issues and social media in the workplace.
The seminar had approved credits for the Nebraska State Bar Association Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and the HR Certification Institute.
