Dvorak Law Group announces that Laura Essay, partner with Dvorak Law Group, was honored with the Outstanding Young Lawyer award on October 13. The Award is presented annually by the Nebraska State Bar Association, to a young lawyer who has made exemplary contributions to the community and to public service, who actively participates in state and local bar activities, and who stands out in the areas of professional knowledge, skill, integrity, and courtesy.
Essay has been actively involved in the Nebraska State Bar Association. She served as Chair of the Young Lawyers Section in 2015-2016, Chair of the Annual Meeting Committee in 2015, and as a member of the Barrister’s Ball Committee. She is a graduate of the NSBA Leadership Academy (2016) and represents the state as a Nebraska Delegate to the America Bar Association House of Delegates. Essay is also an Iowa and Nebraska District Representative to the Young Lawyers Division.

Laura graduated with a B.S. from Nebraska Wesleyan University (highest distinction) and received her J.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law (2009).
