Join Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission’s Acting Executive Director Paula Gardner, Ryan Kunhart and Julie Schultz Self of Dvorak Law Group, LLC, for a seminar on December 7, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. It will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Omaha La Vista Hotel & Conference Center.
The seminar will cover how to handle internal discrimination complaints and EEOC and NEOC Charges. We will discuss the EEOC and NEOC Charge process from the time a charge is received to when a Commission Determination is made. We will also discuss best practices for drafting effective Position Statements and what to expect after a Commission Determination is made.
NEOC Executive Director Paula Gardner will discuss recent trends, NEOC enforcement positions, and best practices for responding to NEOC charges from the NEOC’s perspective. There will also be a Q&A session with the Acting Executive Director following the presentation.
There will be 1.92 hours of CLE credit offered.
