Biography

Ali is part of the firm’s litigation and trial practice team. She collaborates with clients on various commercial and business litigation cases, including employment law, breaches of contract, civil rights violations, negligence, fraud, construction defects, and insurance disputes. Ali manages every phase of the litigation process, from initiating litigation, carrying out discovery and depositions, engaging in mediation, trial proceedings, and navigating the appellate process.

Ali is also a member of the firm’s labor and employment group where she advises clients on a variety of employment-related disputes.  She assists clients with employment and independent contractor agreements and ensures compliance with relevant federal, state, and local labor regulations.  She also offers counsel on recruitment, disciplinary actions, terminations, bias issues, harassment, reductions, retaliation, discrimination, and wage and hour disputes.  Ali defends corporate clients in litigation brought by employees under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and other state and federal employment regulations.
